Don't forget to measure your air lines!
Please measure front and rear air lines separately. The front and rear air lines on your RV may be different sizes (often times they are different). 1 set of Motion Control Units will control (2) air bags. Our MCUs will only fit on plastic air lines. We have many sizes and styles available to accomodate most air bag set ups. See the table below to see the available options.
What do they fit? How many do I need?
On most Freightliner, Spartan, Tiffin Powerglide, and Country Coach chassis, 2 sets of MCUs will be needed for front and rear application (1 set for the 2 air bags in the front, 1 set for the 2 air bags in the rear).
On most Monaco Roadmaster and Magnum Air chassis, 4 sets of MCUs will be needed for front and rear application (2 sets for the 4 air bags in the front, 2 sets for the 4 air bags in the rear).
SuperSteer® MCUs have different baffling ranges!
We offer 2 different baffling ranges for each of our MCU airline sizes. One designed for under 30,000 lbs and one designed for over 30,000 lbs. This will effect the ride quality. Please make sure you have noted the GVWR of your coach. You can find your GVWR on the information plate, usually located by the driver's side wall or near the main door.
Please note: For most applications, we recommend using the lighter MCUs (under 30,000) for the front of your coach, and the heavier MCUs (over 30,000) for the rear of your coach. This will still give you the support you need without compromising ride quality in the front. If your RV is very large and/or heavy (40,000 lbs or larger), please use the over 30,000 lb rated units for both front and rear applications.
