How to Measure the Diameter Of Your Tie Rod?

Applications:

Freightliner XC Air Ride chassis with a V-Ride solid I-beam front suspension (2016-2025); Freightliner XCR Air Ride chassis with a V-Ride solid I-beam front suspension (2016-2025); Freightliner XCM Air Ride chassis with a V-Ride solid I-beam front suspension (2016-2025); Freightliner XCS Air Ride chassis with a V-Ride solid I-beam front suspension (2016-2025)

Application Notes:

  • Does NOT fit VFS I-beam front suspension (2023+)
  • The SS100 bell crank is compatible with chassis' that have a 3-bolt mounting style. If your chassis has a 4-bolt mounting style bell crank, please choose the SS663 package instead (does not include the SS100).
  • Please make sure you measure the diameter of your tie rod for the correct Safe-T-Plus bracket kit. There is a video if you need instructions on how to measure.
  • Some 2016 chassis have V-Ride front suspension and older style rear suspension. Please verify your rear suspension before ordering.
  • These packages include options for the standard in-line MCUs and the mixed MCU kit that includes one threaded style and one standard in-line style unit for the rear air bags. Please check your rear passenger air bag to see what is correct for your coach.

Note: The Motion Control Units may affect the function of the Valid Trueline Electronic ride height leveling system. We do not recommend installation of the MCUs with this system.
