SSR-187-54-1 SumoSprings rear for Ford F-53

SumoSprings® are a patented suspension product designed to enhance load carrying ability, stabilize sway, and improve overall driver control and ride comfort. They are maintenance free, do not leak air, and do not require airlines or compressors. SumoSprings® are manufactured in a variety of heights, diameters and densities to support multiple front and rear applications. They are manufactured from proprietary closed micro-cellular urethane providing a smooth and progressive spring rate with superior damping properties.

Does NOT fit Thor Outlaw toy hauler applications.

SumoSprings® applications for the Ford F53 chassis are specific to the make of the RV (Winnebago, Thor, Forest River, etc.), year and the GVWR. Each RV manufacturer will design the body to sit on the chassis differently, resulting in needing different mounting brackets for the SumoSprings®.

It's easy to get mixed up when checking your vehicle weight rating. Please ensure you DO NOT use the GCWR (Gross Combined Weight Rating) as a reference for fitment. This will give you the combined weight rating of your chassis and towing a vehicle. This will be a larger rating than the GVWR.

Motorhome chassis manufacturers use different rear axles for different weight ratings on the chassis.

If orders are placed due to wrong GVWR, the return will be subject to a 25% Restocking Fee, plus any return shipping charges that may inccur.
