Poor Steering started it all
"LIVING LIFE ONE MILE AT A TIME" - Robert's new book is coming soon!
"Steering issues were the reason we started in the RV business more than 30 years ago,” says SuperSteer founder and CEO Robert Henderson, "and steering issues are still today, the biggest complaint we hear from motorhome owners.”
Robert is passionate about creating a community of safe and happy RVers which led him to write his first book. His family-owned business is an RV/auto service center that specializes in handling, suspension, steering, and braking in RVs, trucks, passenger cars and commercial vehicles.
Robert expects his new book due out later this year, Living Life One Mile At A Time: Secrets for Safer and Happier RV Driving, when his company came out with a new motorhome steering assembly using tapered roller bearings to replace a sloppy OEM bushing design, they chose the name SuperSteer, and it remains so today.
The new book, being published by Black Card Books, details the secrets RVers need to know from buying a motorhome (used/new) to diagnosing steering problems, to the secrets of getting the best ride and handling possible. But it’s not just about motorhomes. There’re chapters addressing heavy-duty pickups, 5th wheels, towables, and towing dinghies.
Henderson’s tone throughout is very conversational, with the “techy” side softened by humor, customer anecdotes, and first-hand experiences dealing with RV handling and steering issues. Living Life One Mile At A Time is a must-read for any RVer. It’ll be available in both print and digital versions through Black Card Books and SuperSteer.
