How to Measure the diameter of your Tie Rod

Do I need an alignment before installing Safe T Plus?

Applications:

Chevrolet P30 (1968-1998), Chevrolet P32 (1968-1998), Workhorse P30 (1999-2003), Workhorse P32 (1999-2003), Workhorse P30 (2006-2007), Workhorse P32 (2006-2007)

Application Notes:

This Safe-T-Plus mounting bracket kit is desgined to be installed with the 31-140 Safe-T-Plus steering control (sold separtately). It is only compatible with the Chevy/Workhorse P30/P32 Motorhome Chassis with independent front suspension only. The U-bolts provided in this kit fit a 1 1/8" tie rod diameter. If you have a 1 1/4" tie rod diameter (typically a 2004-2005 model) please use kit # P-30KB14.
