SS107 HEAT TREATED OE Replacement Rear Sway Bar for Ford F53 V10, 1 3/4" Diameter

The SuperSteer® SS107 rear sway bar is heat treated, offering a stronger alternative to the traditional sway bar upgrade. When heat is applied during manufacturing, the steel hardens and becomes stronger. At 1 3/4" diameter, it is larger than the stock sway bar. Traditionally, for every 1/8" sway bar diameter size, you gain 30% increase in strength. Heat treated sway bars provide approximately 60% increase for every 1/8". A huge improvement for such a small increase. The sway bar will help eliminate sway and body roll in your RV.

Our heat treated rear sway bar kit also includes upgraded heavy duty endlinks. They are thicker and stronger than the factory alternative, reducing the risk of breaking. Our kits come with polyurethane bushings and all the hardware needed for installation.

Applications:

Ford F53 V10 with 16,000 lb GVWR (2006-2020) and Ford F53 V10 with 18,000 lb GVWR (2006-2020)

Application Notes:

Please measure the center to center distance of the bolts on the u-clamp (the bracket that secures the bushing) of the OE rear sway bar. This must measure 4"-5" for this part to fit. See photo example below of where to measure:

This sway bar fits chassis with the parking brake at the rear differential. Also, this WILL WORK on the Thor Outlaw toy haulers built on the Ford F53 V10 chassis, where many other rear upgrades will not due to the extra bracing and truss structure welded to the frame.
