KONI Special ACTIVE with ACTIVE Technology - Unsurpassed Comfort and Handling

Utilizing the most recent generation of KONI’s patented Frequency Selective Damping technology, it controls large body motions and cornering forces but smooths expansion joints and rough roads for improved comfort. KONI’s ACTIVE technology is perfectly suited for campers and motorhomes. Campers and motorhomes very often have an infamous high center of gravity but with KONI Special ACTIVE dampers installed, they will be less prone to pitching and rolling, creating a perfect drive.

Dodge RAM ProMaster (2006-Current)

APPLICATION NOTES:

For all 250/290 models from 2006 onwards. Front 8705-1332: these are not usable in combination with most of the original (OEM) ProMaster front coil springs as the Dodge springs are too soft and the car is always resting on its front bump rubbers. This results in the shocks having no free inward travel at all. To check if the ProMaster (based) has already been upgraded to better springs over time: measure the ground clearance at the front jacking point, if ground clearance is 26 cm or more (Ch. No: ZFA250-) or 27 cm or more (Ch. No: ZFA290 -) it is ok and the 8705-1332 can be used without any problems. If the clearance is less, the OEM coil springs must be replaced alongside with the dampers with new coil springs, giving a 30-60 mm raised ride height.
