    Visitor’s FAQs

     Event dates: January 19th-27th, 2019

     Event hours: 9AM -5PM

Do you allow pets? This is a very sensitive area. We will allow “SMALLER” , well behaved, dogs on leashes, however we ask that you do not bring any larger dogs onto the show grounds and please keep you smaller pets on a short leash or carry your pet when the crowds get dangerous for your pet and others in your vicinity. Here is a typical shot of the massive crowds inside the tent when small pets are in danger and should be carried.

Is there parking? If so, is there a charge? Yes there is, limited, parking and it is FREE. There are also areas adjacent to our show grounds that are accessible for parking, AT YOUR OWN RISK, as there are areas of deep, soft and sandy soil where you may get stuck. At the top of this page thee is an aerial photo of the show grounds and parking area. You will see Interstate 10 at the top of this photo.

Do you provide parking for RVs? No. We are limited in the amount of parking we have available and the spaces are designed for cars and trucks, although a Class B or similar small RV may fit. Here’s another aerial view from the east of our showgrounds and the surrounding area. http://quartzsitervshow.com/files/6512/8959/2469/aerial12.jpg

Do you offer camping for the public? No. There is BLM dry-camping adjacent just south of our show grounds. http://www.bafrenz.com/birds/QuartbX1.htm

Does BLM charge for the camping?  Yes, however, there used to be some FREE areas north of town that we designated FREE in the past. Please refer to our QZ LOCAL INFO page for lots if info and also these websites below for more information on BLM and local campgrounds.

    http://qzchamber.com/camp.htm

    http://www.boondockingguide.com

Are there any campgrounds with full hook-ups in the area? Yes, there are many campsgrounds in, and around Quartzsite, however understand that the long term customers have priority and many are already full by show time. There is a large campground directly across the street from our main entrance on Central (AZ State Hwy 95 South) called Rice Ranch Campground and they offer full-hookups and have a very large campground but I advise that you contact them in advance. Here is a link to their, and one other, campground (please let them know where you received this information when you contact them).

    http://qzchamber.com/camp.htm

What about Hotels & Motels in the area? It’s pretty slim pickins’ in Quartzsite, proper; however there are plenty of accommodations just 18-20 miles, and  is all freeway, west of town in Blythe, California. You will also find some in Ehrenberg and Parker, AZ. Here is a page with that information. http://quartzsitervshow.com/local-quartzsite-information/hotels-and-motels (please let them know where you received this information when you contact them)

What else goes on in Quartzsite during the winter months? While all of the major shows in the area coincide with our show dates, there are several other shows and events that take place in, and around, Quartzsite during the season and here is a link to that information. http://www.qzchamber.com/calendar.html

We can’t make the next show. Do you have future dates available? Our show always opens on the Saturday following the 3rd Friday, each January. That is the day our neighbor, Tyson Wells Sell-A-Rama has traditionally opened. Here is a list from our website of future dates.
